May Days

Viimased paar päeva on parajalt seiklusterohked olnud ja kohati üsna ... hm, täis spontaansusi. Näiteks kolmapäeval läksime sõbraga niisama väiksele dringile, kuid ootamatult põrkasime kokku kamba soomlastega, kel oli käsil pub crawl//volbriöö tähistamine Yongkangi baaride tänaval ja liitusime nendega. Teesklesime, et oleme ka soomlased ja liikusime kambaga koos mööda prantsuse kontsessiooni ringi (ja muidugi kandsid soomlased pikachu ja krokodilli kostüüme haha). Öö oli lõbus ja veider ja koju vedasin end alles kell 4:30 hommikul. Esimesel mail aga kogunesime Curtise pool ja nautisime head toitu ja seltskonda.

Couple of last days have been full of adventures and everything spontaneous. For example on Wednesday I went out for a drink with a friend, but we bumped into a bunch of Finnish people having a pubcrawl//Walpurgis night at Yongkang Road. We pretended to be finnish and joined the crawl and ran along the streets of the FCC (and of course, the Finns had crazy costumes on). The night was fun and crazy and strange and I made it back home at 4:30 in the morning. The next day we gathered at Curtis' place for some food and good company.

The huge Shanghai Library, which is the second biggest one in whole China and is really close to the French Concession, so I pass by that place often

The day after celebrating Walpurgis night - not feeling that fresh

Curtis kokkas meile fajita'sid. Hiljem tulid Curtis'e vanemad ja tõid meile paninisid ka ning jõid meiega koos õlut, mis oli neist ääretult kena

Curtis made us fajitas! And his parents came by later, brought us some paninis and joined us for a beer, which was super nice of them

And then it got dark and mosquitoes came out

Ja lõpuks me kolisime Shanghai Brewery'sse, kus me tellisime selle legendaarse kuhja tortillasid ning ma proovisin virsiku pruuli lõpuks ära (ootamatult magus õlle kohta, aga magusam kui siider, my seal of approval). Lõpuks väsisin meeletult ära ja lasin teistel edasi seigelda, ise hüppasin takso peale ja juba kell 11 sättisin end magama hihi :) 

Tänase reede puhul läheme vist aga jälle välja linna peale ja seiklused jätkuvad!

And finally we went to Shanghai Brewey, where we ordered the epic pile of tortilla chips and I finally tried out the Peach Brew (unexpectedly sweet for a beer, but nicer than a cider). Then I got superduper tired and let the others run along, got a cab and got to bed by 11 hihi :)

Since it's Friday today, I guess our adventures continue and we start off by dinner at Cotton's!
