Sweet Spot Fest '18

Seems like I haven't been to any festivals in ages!

I didn't really expect or plan on attending Sweet Spot either, but there I was (and still will be, as I have a 2 day pass)

Kodak Colorplus

I always go for Fujifilm - not sure why, a random preference I stuck to.

This one time, I saw some Kodak Colorplus on discount at a local photostore, so just grabbed a few rolls without giving it  further thought. I'm super pleased with the results and the surprising graininess of the film. This basically inspired me to try out other film options - black and white sounds like something I would need to test out as well.

Brunch at Cafe August

All vegan eats and treats at Cafe August! Banana pancakes with almond whip aaaand chocolate-black bean brownie with peanut butter ice cream. To die for!

We celebrated Midsummer officially with the rest of the Baltics at the Lithuanian Embassy already during the last weekend.

I thought all I've done has been related to work and my thesis, but apparently it's been a bit more. 
Yeah, I'm pretty content with my life so far (and to think I've been 'holding myself down' and trying to be responsible... man, it's been actually rather turbulent).

2016 in a nutshell

January

I greeted New Years with Anna-Lisa, Vee and a bunch of others at someone's flat - to be honest, we were afraid we won't make it there before midnight. But yes, NY started off well and on January 1st, Anna-Lisa cut of her hair (with my blessings, of course).

 I thought staying 'til 1 am is hardcore, but then I got to leave at 4 am on Wednesday, so this was actually ok. 
Tired, stressed, but strangely... happy.

At Vegan Tiger - ridiculously good string beans AND chinese cabbage with peanut sauce and sesame seeds. To die for.

 I had my oral exam on Globalisation, reverse innovation and IP rights on Friday and it went really-really well (despite the fact of me being sick for nearly a week and revising only during the last few days) and I was so prepped to just relax and do absolutely nothing on that evening.
