Treats!


Just lõpetasin piparkookide küpsetamise, hiljem teen ehk väikse glasuurivaaba ka peale. Soovitan kõigil proovida ise tainast teha - ausalt, see on lihtsamast lihtsam ja tulemus on seda pisikest lisaajakulu totaalselt väärt! 
Ausalt, ma pole elu sees nii palju kokanud, kui selle poole aasta jooksul, mis ma siin elanud olen. Nii et lisaks hiina keelele ja majanduaalastele teadmistele on mu koka skillzid samuti lisapunkte saanud. Ja ma arvasin, et ei õpi söögitegemist kunagi ära... haha, oh neid aegu, mil isegi lihtlabane makaroni keetmine oli suursündmuseks! 
Järgmisena asun homse Ris a la mande'i jaoks riisiputru keetma ja kunagi peaks kuusega ka tegelema - nimelt saabus nüüd kuusejalg, aga tüvi on liiga suur selle jaoks. Nii et paistab, et pean kirve ja sae ja veel paarsada tööriista välja otsima. Hoidke pöialt, et puu peale seda kõike terveks jääb!

Just finished baking gingerbread cookies, maybe I'll decorate them a bit later with some icing also. I can deffinetly recommend making your own gingerbread dough this time - honestly, it's really simple and really worth that extra time!
I started thinking today, that I've never cooked so much in my life like in these few months since starting my student life here in Denmark. So yeah, besides getting some knowledge in chinese and economy, apparently I'm also improving my cooking skills. And I thought I will never learn how to cook! I can still remember the times, when just simply boiling a pot full of macaroni was a big thing for me, haha!
So afterwards I'm gonna start preparing that Ris a la mande for tomorrow's Christmas dinner and I should also work on that Christmas tree - it doesn't fit in the tree-holder and now I have to get some tools and... uhm, do something with it. Keep your fingers crossed, that the tree will still look decent after I've finished with it!
