Yonghe Temple

Yonghe Lamasery
Well, this holiday in Europe went fast by, didn't it?

I arrived back to Beijing on Friday early morning (after a 21 hour trip, which included a 12 hour wait in Moscow airport and me trying to get some sleep on a bench in Burger King there... Figured this is a new low in my life).
So far, me and my jet lag have managed to visit the local IKEA and Sanlitun. Today I was brave enough to head out to the Yonghe Tibetan lamasery - since the weather and the air have been awesome these past few days. Also, I'll be busy with school and other errands during the next few weeks, so I figured I should do something which would get me out of the campus.
I also figured that in order to get to know the city a bit better, I should use the subway a bit less and experiment with the buses. Since you're actually on the streets when riding one and start getting a sense of directions a bit better.
