Didn't think I'd go back so soon, but somehow ended up at the Old Summer Palace again last week.

I enjoyed this time much more as it wasn't the holiday season anymore (still crowded tho - when is there a time in China that a tourist spot would not be crowded). Also, just look at all the beautiful colorful ginko trees!

So this week has been rather eventful.

Flower forests and the crystal universe - what a day at 798. So much beauty from teamLab! 

And yesterday I went to the National Museum of China, but not because I really wanted to see their ancient pottery and china (I've seen enough for a lifetime in Shanghai, Taipei and Beijing by now...), but more due to me wanting to see Masterpieces from the Leiden Collection. Rembrandt, van Mieris and other Dutch dudes. 

What an artsy-fartsy weekend this was.

Yeah, I'm pretty content with my life so far (and to think I've been 'holding myself down' and trying to be responsible... man, it's been actually rather turbulent).
