First day of spring brought along these beautiful plum blossoms!
Went for a long walk with Betti yesterday...
...and we did some exploring at the Tsinghua University campus, where we witnessed some military training.

Then we headed to D-Mart, which is a shop that stocks some Western and other imported stuff (they even have Latvian Riga Balzam). I got some buckwheat ramen, Silk organic soy milk (it's surprisingly hard to find local soy milk with no added sugar or milk powder... seriously now) and some awesome bread with sunflower seeds (I love Chinese steamed mantou and baozi, but sometimes a girl just needs her regular oven-baked bread!). So I actually made ramen with veggies in my new rice cooker and dayum, stuff was good! My rice cooker is probably the best purchase of 2016.

Esimene kevadpäev tõi endaga need ilusad ploomiõied!
Käisin eile Bettiga pikal jalutuskäigul ning avastasime veidike naabruses asuva Tsinghua ülikooli kampust. Sattusime seal lausa mingisuguse militaartreeningu peale, kus noored hiinlased vormiriietes marsisammu harjutasid.
Seejärel suundusime D-Mart'i, mis on importtoodete poeke - neil on seal isegi Riia Palsamit.
