Uue aasta võtsime vastu õhtustades itaalia restos Seves. Peale rohket pastat, rikkalikke magustoite ja veini üritasime taksot kinni püüda, mis on 31. detsembri õhtul mission impossible. Sõitsime mu "klassivenna" Curtise juurde Xujiahui kanti, kus tal 26ndal korrusel asub mõnusa vaatega hubane korter. Mängisime beerpongi, tantsisime ja mõned minutid enne uue aasta saabumist tutvustas Michelle meile Taani kombeid - nimelt ronivad kõik enne countdown'i toolidele või millegi kõrgema otsa, et siis uue aasta saabudes sealt alla hüpata... nii et sõna otseses mõttes hüpatakse uude aastasse! Ilutulestikku me eriti ei näinud (sest Curtise maja on ümbritsetud teiste kõrghoonetega), aga well... you can't have it all! Vähemalt olin terve õhtu jooksul šampusepudelit igale poole tirinud, seega oli see meil olemas - uut aastat ei saa ju ilma šampuseta vastu võtta!
Täna peaks veel õppima, Tujurikkuja sketšid üle vaatama ja homsest oleme jälle nagu oravad rattas ja jätkame argieluga. Väga töine algus sel aastal!

We started our NY Eve at an Italian restaurant Seve. After lots of pasta, decadent deserts and excellent wine, we headed to my "classmate" Curtis's place. Getting a cab in the last hours of NY Eve is pretty much mission impossible, the traffic jams were crazy, but we made it to his place. Turns out he has a cozy flat with an amazing view on the 26th floor. We played beerpong, danced and a couple of minutes before 2014, Michelle introduced a Danish NY tradition to us - everyone hast to get on a chair before the countdown and jump off from it at midnight - so you literallyjump into New Year! We didn't see any fireworks though, since our house was surrounded by other really tall buildings, but I guess you can't have it all. Atleast we had champagne, since I had carried a bottle with me through all the night - can't greet the New Year without champagne!
Oh my, but today... I should study, go through the Estonian really funny NY programme aaaaand starting from tomorrow, we're gonna continue with our normal everyday lives. Such an unusually busy way to start a new year!
