I thought all I've done has been related to work and my thesis, but apparently it's been a bit more. 
Yeah, I'm pretty content with my life so far (and to think I've been 'holding myself down' and trying to be responsible... man, it's been actually rather turbulent).

Second day in Shanghai, Monday. 

It began at Celia's, this dingy little bar close to Dada Shanghai (used to be LoGo back in 'my days' haha I feel old for saying this). 

But yeah, Monday - there was more to do at Strawberry Festival!

So this was really not my style, but on Saturday evening I booked a ticket and Sunday morning headed off to Shanghai. Just like that.

I stayed at a motel between Xintiandi, a posh shopping area, and this traditional old part of Shanghai, with old lane houses and streets like this. 
Talk about diversity.

Taking the train from BJ to SH was the best idea ever - wow, such views!

Makes one realise how HUGE and diverse this country is.

2016 in a nutshell

January

I greeted New Years with Anna-Lisa, Vee and a bunch of others at someone's flat - to be honest, we were afraid we won't make it there before midnight. But yes, NY started off well and on January 1st, Anna-Lisa cut of her hair (with my blessings, of course).
