Didn't think I'd go back so soon, but somehow ended up at the Old Summer Palace again last week.
I enjoyed this time much more as it wasn't the holiday season anymore (still crowded tho - when is there a time in China that a tourist spot would not be crowded). Also, just look at all the beautiful colorful ginko trees!
Seeing the Old Summer Palace like this convinced me even more that autumn is truly the best season to be in Beijing.
