Shanghers Trip

...
It's been a wild weekend full of trips down the memory lane and adventures and new people and experiences.
I'd forgotten the vibe of Shanghai and learned to accept Beijing. Hey, I almost developed a thing for Beijing, right? Maybe it's the smog and the grey winter of Beijing or perhaps the sheer nostalgia of returning to a city full of so many vivid memories, but I think the entire time in Shanghai I had this goofy million watt smile on my face and prancing around.
//
Seljatasin just metsiku nädalavahetuse, mis sisaldas endas pilguheitu mälestusterajal, kuid samas ka uusi seiklusi, inimesi ja kogemusi.
Suutsin kuidagi täiesti ära unustada Shanghai vibe'i ja hakkasin Pekingit aktsepteerima. Peaaegu lausa kiinduma, eks?

Yan'an Road Station! My old home stop! The memories!
//
Yan'an'i metroopeatus! Mu vana kodupeatus! Oh neid mälestusi!
...
I stayed at Curtis' place - we used to study at Donghua University back in the days and apparently he recently moved right next to the old uni! It was an old traditional Shanghai apartment building in an all-chinese compound
//
Peatusin Curtise juures, kellega koos kunagi Donghuas hiina keelt õppisime - noh, naljakal kombel kolis ta just Donghua külje alla. Tegemist oli tüüpilise vanema Shanghai kortermajaga hiinlaste compound'is.

All black for exploring hehe (and new Nike Roshe One sneakers, also all black yeaaa)

...
Anshun Road - I'd used to go to the hair dressers there and to some of the bakeries located on that street
//
Anshun Road - käisin sel tänaval juuksuris ja pagarikodades

...
Typical Shanghai and laundry everywhere
//
Tüüpiline Shanghai oma iga nurga peal rippuva pesuga

Subtle selfie
...
Shanghai Library - one of the most gorgeous ones I've been to
//
Shanghai Raamatukogu - üks lahedamaid, kus käinud olen
...
Rainy Bund on Sunday
//
Bund vihmasel pühapäeval

Moody Pudong views

Tujukas Pudong

Roaming these streets, I just can't

Last nights' coffee runs with Curtis at the French Concession (totally unfocused photo haha)
//
Viimase õhtu kohvid Curtisega prantsuse kontsessioonis (kõik fookusest väljas, haha hea töö Curtis)
...
...
Good old Shanghai Brewery in the background! And almost impossible to catch a cab on a rainy Sunday in that area, I was really worried I'll miss my flight. Which was really tempting after we landed in the smoggy Beijing night.
//
Vana hea Shanghai Brewery taamal paistmas! Ja vihmasel pühapäeval on peaaegu võimatu selles piirkonnas taksot leida, kartsin, et jään lennukist maha hehe. Mis tundus väha kutsuvana, eriti peale sudusesse Pekingi öösse naasmist.
