Heihei! Reedel sai mu praktika läbi ja nüüd on mul uue semestrini mõnusalt kaks vaba nädalat jäänud. Puhkus indeed! Viimasel nädalal hakkasid mind kimbutama unehäired, nii et mul oli raskusi öösel uinumisega (kord oli liiga külm, siis jälle lihtsalt polnud und). Nädala peale hakkas unedefitsiit endast tunda andma, kuid õnneks reedel sain end juba ilusti välja magada ja eks ma juba ootan esmaspäeva hommikut, kus ma võin rahus hommikul endale kohaselt pisut uimerdada, voodis kohvi juua ja telekat vaadata. Lihtsad rõõmud, eks.
Reedel ja eile käisin linna peal asjatamas, õhtuti vastavalt siis laternafestivalil ja laupäeva õhtul sain Pekingis õppiva kursaõe Jenniga kokku, kes jälle Shanghaid väisab. Käisime mingis kohutava muusikaga hiina klubis, kuniks suutsin kõik veenda Dada Bari minema (hiljem kõik tänasid mind selle ettepaneku eest... minu kõrvad ja tantsujalad tänasid mind ka).
Täna suutsin lõpuks oma internetiühenduse taastada, seega mu vihmane pühapäev on juba eos ära sisustatud, juhuu! Avatud õppetoas skaipimine on üsna vaevaline ja lisaks kohtasin seal liigagi huvitavaid inimtüüpe... näiteks passis seal pidevalt üks vene tüdruk, kellele meeldis omaette aeg-ajalt oma keeles roppusi pomiseda ja ümiseda. Ja üks naine, kes seal samuti püsikas oli, no sellel oli kombeks hambad laiali ja valjult haigutada... või üks kutt, kes mulle õhinal seletas, kuidas ta siin kohalikega tüli noris ja kakluse tõttu juba politseijaoskonda on sattunud. Heihei! My internship ended on Friday and now i have these perfect two weeks of holidays until our new semester starts. I so needed this, since on this last week I developed some troubles with sleeping and I started feeling like a real zombie by the end of this week... Luckilly I could get some well-deserved sleep on Friday and I'm looking forward to my next Monday morning, where I don't have to rush anywhere, drink some coffee in bed and watch TV. Ah, the simple pleasures.
On Friday and yesterday I ran some errands around the city and the evenings I spent on the Lantern Festival or meeting up with my coursemate Jenni, who's in Shanghai again. We went to some chinese club with horrible music, but I convinced everyone to move on to Dada Bar (they thanked me later and my ears and dancing feet said thanks also).
Oh my, and I managed to solve the issue with my internet connection today, so my rainy Sunday is fully scheduled, wehoo! I really didn't like making skype calls in a public study room also and I met really strange people in that room... like a girl who randomly started cursing in russian or just humming some tunes out of the blue. Or a woman who loved to yawn - really loudly! Or this one guy who'd tell me all his exciting adventures of picking fights with locals and how he'd spent some time in a police station because of that. Ohyay, such a diverse bunch!
