 That rainy day walk around Houhai

Fragrant Hills!

I've been craving going out into the wild nature for some time now - thus, me and Anna-Lisa set out yesterday at 7:30 am to the Fragrant Hills. Apparently it's super easy to get there from our campus - there's a bus right from our closest stop with bus 630 departing from here and after a one hour+ ride, you'll get dropped off at the bottom of hill!

I hope you all had a wonderful New Years Eve and the first days of 2016 have been kind to you - both of these sure apply to me!

I actually discovered some old unpublished photos, so I'll just toss them in with some newer stuff and voila! We get the first post of the year!

Loodan, et kõigil oli megavahva aastavahetus ja 2016 aasta esimesed päevad on olnud helded - mul on õnne olnud mõlema puhul!

Tegelikult avastasin, et mul on kogunenud paras ports avaldamata fotosid, nii et mõtlesin, et pressiks nad kõik koos vähe uuema kraamiga kokku ja voila! Selle aasta esimene postitus ongi sündinud!

 Went to Roberts' crib for group work - this lucky guy lived on the 16th floor and it was a clear smog-free day. Um, mountains in the background, not bad.

Independence Day X Rulamööbel

Yesterday was the Restoration of Independence Day in Estonia, thus - yay, a free day! It was sunny and hot, so me and Kerttu headed over to Rulamööbel event, which was showcasing multiuse furniture - made for both skating and public use. 

A day of drawing, beer, sun and skateboards. How else can you describe a perfect summer day, huh?

Weekend in Pärnu

Kuldrula in Pärnu

I got back from Pärnu and I'm pretty sure that this weekend has topped all the other weekends of this summer. Kerttu and I went to see and take photos at the Kuldrula event and the Pärnu street festival Augustiunetus. We'd take a ton of pictures, ate at a nice place called Mahedik, which serves organic food and go see Kerttu's classmates perform at the street festival. And later on we went to Katlamaja for the Kuldrula afterparty. Going through Pärnu that night was crazy, it's a cute calm town, but this weekend all the streets were packed with people. The whole town was celebrating, it was warm, the stars were shining and the mood was great.

Today we had breakfast at the villa we were staying at, packed up our things and headed to the beach, where I probably got my last chance to tan this summer. Soon we went to have lunch at a Greek restaurant (which tricked us into believing it was a vegan place by placing false advertising in their logo, like wtf) and returned to Kuldrula for more photos. I'm usually really happy with my 35mm fix lens, but this weekend showed me the true limitations of this lens. It's a good one, for sure, but not really made for taking action shots. Ugh, jealous of these guys who had real bazookas as their lenses of use, I'd like to see the results of working with these!

Mul on tunne, et olen miljon aastat blogimisest jälle eemal olnud - huh, suvi on pöörane ja kiire ja meeleolukas.

Ehk on asi ajapiirangus, aga iga moment Eesti suvest tundub nii väärtuslik, soovin et aeg mööduks veelgi aeglasemalt, et minutid sulaks tundideks ning juuni kestaks veel ja veel.

Backbends & Rain

Pühapäeva hommik ja kellakeeramisest tingitud segadus, piparmündi tee, päiksetervitused (no sun tho) ja igast muud sirutused (täpsemalt Eka Pada Urdhva Dhanurasana, varsti loodetavasti sirge jalaga).

Kayla Itsines'e Bikini Body Guide'il läheb alates homsest viimane nädal - ise ka ei usu, et nii kaua viitsisin seda teha :D

Sunday morning and slight confusion from the daylight savings, peppermint tea, sun salutations (no sun tho') and a bunch of other stretches (Eka Pada Urdhva Dhanurasana, hopefully soon with a straightened leg).

About to start with week 12 from Kayla Itsines' Bikini Body Guide as of tomorrow - still find it hard to believe I've put up with this so far :D
